The Flowers of Dick Bruna
In 1975, Dutch illustrator Dick Bruna, best known as the creator of Miffy, published Flower Book (Bloemenboek), a charming collection celebrating the simple beauty of flowers through his distinctive graphic style.
Inspired by this work, Dutch designer Michael Barnaart selected three flowers from the original illustrations—the poppy, daisy, and violet—and reinterpreted them as elegant enamel brooches.
Each flower is produced in a limited edition of only 350 pieces, making these brooches particularly appealing to collectors and admirers of Dick Bruna’s timeless visual language.
